About the challenge.
Changemakers for China, brought to you by Taovation, has teamed with the Chinese Small and Medium Enterprises International Cooperation Association to bring you the 9th "Maker in China" Overseas SME Innovation Challenge. This challenge provides a unique opportunity for innovative startups to jumpstart business relationships in China.
Through this program, 5 startups will be selected for an all-expenses-paid trip to China to present their products and technologies to leading businesses, research institutes, and government officials.
Our goal is to build a cross-border community where Chinese companies and organizations can benefit from innovations happening abroad.

POST-PROGRAM
Receive ongoing support to establish your business in China, including free office space and business development assistance.

The China International Import Expo (CIIE) is a premier global event initiated by President Xi Jinping in 2018. In 2023, CIIE featured 3,486 companies and recorded USD $78.41 billion in transactions.
Our Innovation Incubation Special Section promotes the growth of innovative enterprises in the Chinese market.
Unlike a competition or startup accelerator, we're building long-term relationships as a matchmaking service. Our goal is to help you build a presence not only in China, but to have your office also serve as a hub to serve the entire Asia-Pacific.
